Wayne County Department of Public Services is proud to offer the 24-Hour Environmental Hotline providing you more access to a wide variety of environmental services 7 days a week.

During Business Hours: You will receive prompt follow-up to your questions or concerns from DPS staff.

After Business Hours: If your call is of an urgent nature, it will be promptly forwarded to our staff on-call. All other calls will be responded to on the next business day.

The following are examples of some issues regulated by the environmental programs within the Department of Public Services:

Drain maintenance, sewer maintenance, and industrial sewage discharges.

Landfill, illegal dumping, soil runoff from construction sites and other solid waste related complaints.

Water pollution and other water quality related complaints
